Cold water, ideally filtered or spring water, is recommended. Ice cubes are optional. - Instructions: 1. Guampa Preparation (optional): Fill your guampa halfway with warm water, let it sit for a few minutes, then discard the water to remove any bitterness. 2. Filling the Guampa (or cup): Fill ¾ full with yerba mate, adjusting based on desired strength. 3. Positioning the Yerba Mate: Tilt the guampa at a 45-degree angle to separate the yerba mate from the empty space. 4. Adding Cold Water: Pour cold water into the empty space, ensuring a slow and steady stream to avoid over-saturating the yerba mate. 5. Optional Ice: Add ice cubes for a refreshing taste, especially on a hot day. 6. Using the Bombilla: Insert the bombilla through the yerba mate, ensuring the filter is submerged. The bombilla prevents the ingestion of leaves. 7. Enjoy: Sip slowly through the bombilla and add more cold water as needed to maintain the desired flavor.
